Staff Values and client centered services
Values followed through by accountability, fiscal responsibility, and acceptance of consequences. This is demonstrated by honesty and abiding by legal, ethical, and state standards.
Values that appreciates the diversity in teams. This is demonstrated by departments talking and listening across lines, sharing resources, working together for the benefit of the client and organization, working towards a common goal, and diversity using different ideas to get the final output.
Values that include client focus, which is based on client strengths. This value emphasizes the benefits offered to clients and community service providers; including being responsive to clients needs, strengths, and what client's families want. It is simply treating people with sensitivity and compassion, and focusing on their strengths.
Fairness and Equality:
This value is demonstrated by the accessible services to all clients, the consistency of services, and the respect for people and their ideas.
This value is demonstrated by having and keeping high standards.
Set and act on measurable objectives and provide that information to clients.
Client attends and participates in educational services appropriate to his/her needs.
Client will, to the extent of his/her ability, maintain a state of health sufficient to their participation in normal, productive, and rewarding activities.
Client has a home that provides him/her with a safe, nurturing environment conducive to the achievement of all of his/her goals.
The client has at least one person who is an advocate, friend and confidant who maintains a long-term relationship with the client which fosters trust, self-esteem, and social competence.
The client is engaged in, exposed, or attempting to gain meaningful employment.
The client develops the social competence and skills he needs in order to become productive.
